On september 2002 at the Rally of Duisburg in the Federal Republic of Germany, the federal rally TOGOLESE DIASPORA IN GERMANY has been founded and a general board voted.

The URTA appreciate this fortunated decesion as an important milestone for the struggle towards establishing democracy and the rule of the laws in Togo. We particularily appreciate this since former attempts of the Togolese natives in Germany to such a rally had failed.

The URTA would like to congratulate the elected board and wish full succes to its mandat. The URTA renews its unchanged readyness to help and assist to bring about the goals of the Rally of Duisburg, it fully supports.
